SHIPPING

HOW MUCH DO I PAY FOR SHIPPING?

Shipping costs depend on the weight of the parcel and which manufacturers it is being shipped from. We will respond within 2-3 business days with an invoice for the total cost of shipping for your products once we have calculated shipping costs. This invoice must be accepted and paid by you prior to us shipping out the product. If shipping is not approved and paid for within one week of us sending the invoice, the order will be cancelled.

HOW SOON WILL I GET MY ORDER?

Delivery time depends on the manufacturer that will ship your order. We will email with a tracking number once the order has shipped. Shipment on non-bespoke orders will happen between 1-3 business days after the shipping charges are accepted and paid. For bespoke orders, we will give you an estimated time for production once the order has been approved.

DOES ENCORE HOUSE OF FABRICS SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, Encore House of Fabrics does ship internationally. International charges will be included in the shipping invoice sent to you once your order is placed.

Please note that due to customs restrictions some items cannot be shipped to certain countries. If this is the case, we will note this in your invoice prior to shipping the rest of your order.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES?

Most of the countries that our products come from charge additional import taxes, duties and fees. These will be added to the invoice, along with  your shipping charges, after your order has been placed and processed. Once approved and paid, your order will ship.

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT?

If a product arrives damaged, please contact us at +1 (703) 573-1640. If a product was damaged in transit, we will work with the carrier to try and rectify the problem.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ORDER STILL HASN’T ARRIVED?

Contact customer service at (1)703-573-1640. We will work with the carrier to locate your package. We will also send you a tracking number with each shipment to allow you to easily search your package’s status.

Purchases can NOT be returned or exchanged. For more information see our return policy page.

WHAT IS ENCORE HOUSE of Fabric’S EXCHANGE POLICY?

Exchanges are not accepted.

GENERAL

WHERE DOES YOUR FABRIC COME FROM?

We source our fabric from top quality manufacturers across Europe. Our suppliers are specialists in their products and produce fabrics and trims used across the fashion industry, from haute couture shows to costumes for movies and television.

HOW DO BESPOKE ORDERS WORK?

Many of our suppliers can produce custom products (colors, print, and more). Please see our bespoke pages for more details on these products. If you are interested in a bespoke product, please fill out an inquiry form and we will send you a quote for the product.

WHAT IF AN ITEM I’VE ORDERED IS OUT OF STOCK?

If an order is out of stock, we will email you to check if you would like to backorder the item or if you would like us to cancel the order. Our supplier will provide us with an approximate timeframe for the backorder, which we will inform you of.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

WHAT IF I NEED TO MODIFY OR CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Please call our customer service department at (1)703-573-1640, and we will be able to help you with your order. Customer service hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00-7:30 pm EST. You may also email us at Info@encorehouseoffabrics.com. Once orders have been shipped, they cannot be cancelled or changed, so please try to reach out as soon as possible.

WILL MY FABRIC BE SHIPPED IN ONE CUT?

We make every effort to fill orders in as few cuts as possible. Unfortunately, a single cut is not always possible, particularly in large orders. Our customer service team will contact you in the event your fabric is only available in multiple cuts.

IS THERE A REQUIRED MINIMUM ORDER SIZE?

All items will have the minimum order listed on the product page. Minimum orders vary depending on the product and supplier.

HOW DO I ADD FABRIC TO MY SHOPPING BAG?

Please enter the number of yards you wish to order, then click “add to cart”. You can view the items in your cart at any time by clicking the shopping cart icon at the page’s top right corner and are able to add or remove yardage from there.

CAN I ORDER SWATCHES?

All of our products are imported directly from European Manufacturers, many of which do not provide swatches. If you are ordering a large quantity of fabric or need many swatches, we may be able to reach out to our supplier to get a quote on swatches. For smaller orders or single swatches, we are not able to offer swatches. Please email us at info@encorehouseoffabrics.com if you have questions about fabrics or swatches.

HOW CAN I BE SURE OF AN ITEM’S COLOR?

We do our best to accurately describe an item’s color in each description and in our photos. However, variations can occur due to differences in monitor and mobile device displays, so we can never guarantee that what you’re seeing is accurate. Certain products are custom dyed to match a specific swatch, so slight variation may also occur in those products depending on the dye lot. If you would like more information on a certain color, please reach out to us at info@encorehouseoffabrics.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT FABRIC FOR MY PROJECT?

WHAT IS A WISHLIST?

A Wishlist is a list of products you would like to buy, but want to save for later. The ‘wishlist’ option is available to registered customers only.

I LIKE THE PRODUCT, BUT I NEED A DIFFERENT COLORWAY? WHAT DO I DO?

Please contact our customer service at info@encorehouseoffabrics. We will check if the fabric is available in other colorways and get back to you. Certain products can also be ordered in our bespoke section and can be custom dyed to your own color specification.

I’M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SPECIFIC THAT I DON’T SEE ON YOUR SITE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE YOU SOURCE THIS PRODUCT FOR ME?

DO YOU HAVE A PRINTED CATALOG OF YOUR FABRICS AND PRODUCTS?

Due to regular updates to our inventory, printing catalogs is not a practical option. Our website is constantly being updated with new fabrics and other products and is the best place to stay up to date on all of our product offerings.
